Paulistana and passionate about the human body , Gabi studied medicine for 4 years until the urge to express herself artistically spoke louder and thus began her career in the art world .
Started with painting, creating skull’s women slightly erotic . Where the skull represent the aggressiveness that comes to protect the fragile and complex feminine thus revealing it sensual and strong. Inspired by a blend of art , medicine, and philosophy of life that reflect your best attributes with uniqueness and her strongest influences.
After conquering her space as an artist , Gabi was unexpectedly presented with a tattoo machine and so fell in love with this new form of expression. Following a style of tattoo with organic and geometric themes of contemporary tribal language.
" Despite being tattooed and love tattoos, I had never thought about being a tattoo artist , but as soon as I got the machine was love at first sight . "
" It is very interesting to make art in people. Remits a tribal ancestor spirit of wanting to mark the body to differentiate and externalize their belief or social status to the world . I can say that tattoo fills me in many ways , it represents a summary of my experiences of life in medicine and art . I still doing art , dealing with people intimaly and working with a little blood , which has always fascinated me " - Gabi Bessa Plastic Artist and Tattooist
